Plaintiff, Greather Heathcock, has appealed the trial court's grant of an Exception of Prescription in favor of her former spouse, Carl Neuenhaus. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

FACTS:

Greather Heathcock (Heathcock) and Carl Neuenhaus were married on March 1, 1991. On June 1, 1991, Mr. Neuenhaus signed a note wherein he promised to pay Ms. Heathcock $19,683.00 at a rate of $418.50 per month commencing on June...
