SUMMARY OF THE CASE

¶ 1. On February 4, 2004, a jury sitting before the First Judicial District of the Hinds County Circuit Court found David Bell guilty of murdering Charity Ishman. Consequently, the trial judge sentenced Bell to life imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
