On December 31, 2003, a New Year's Eve function was sponsored by The Ritz Carlton of Naples at its hotel in Collier County, Florida. According to the Amended Complaint, this event "consisted of dinner, music, dancing, alcoholic beverages and party favors at a significant cost per person." (Doc. # 45, ¶ 8.)
