¶ 1. A Hinds County jury convicted Baron McGee of murder and aggravated assault. He was given concurrent sentences of life and twenty years, respectively, in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Feeling aggrieved, McGee appeals. He alleges the following as errors: (1) the jury's verdict was contrary to the overwhelming weight of the evidence; (2) the trial court erred by not granting his motion for a directed verdict...
