MAY, J.

The plaintiff, an attorney, appeals an adverse summary judgment in an action to recover fees and costs incurred in representing one of the defendants, Carl Dorelien. He raises numerous arguments, but ultimately the appeal involves a single issue—the trial court erred in granting the defendants' motion for summary judgment. We agree and reverse.
