This is an appeal from a judgment in favor of appellees Jim Adams and numerous other fire fighters against appellant the City of Lubbock (the City). In its judgment, the trial court denied the City's plea to the jurisdiction and motion for summary judgment and granted appellees' motion for partial summary judgment.
