In this property damage case, the plaintiffs, Amber and Steven Rawls, filed suit against the City of Bastrop, alleging their vehicle was damaged by paint overspray from the negligent painting of a municipal building. The trial court found the City liable and awarded damages, penalties, and attorney fees.
