The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (Board) of the United States Patent and Trademark Office affirmed the examining attorney's refusal to register Chatam International Inc.'s (Chatam's) mark JOSE GASPAR GOLD in connection with tequila. In re Chatam Int'l Inc., Ser. No. 76/138,531, 2003 WL 2008773 (TTAB Apr. 25, 2003).
