Joanne Barnett suffers from nonconvulsive epileptic seizures and seeks disability insurance benefits under 42 U.S.C. § 423(a)(1). An administrative law judge (ALJ) concluded that her condition is not severe enough to be presumptively disabling, and that even with the condition, she is not disabled because she can still perform a substantial number of jobs in the local economy.
