Larry Cochran, an Indiana state prisoner, filed a pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus. See 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Mr. Cochran challenged a prison disciplinary sanction that he had received for physically resisting a staff member, which resulted in a one-month loss of telephone privileges and a suspended deprivation of sixty-days' good time credit.
