Defendant, Thomas Allee, appeals the judgment of conviction entered upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of second degree assault with a deadly weapon. We affirm.

The victim was defendant's girlfriend, who lived with him. According to the prosecution's evidence, defendant grabbed the victim by the hair, dragged her along the ground, struck her in the head with a shovel, kicked her, and threw rocks at her head. The victim suffered...
