On January 1, 2000 and February 23 and 29, 2000, defendant was stopped for certain traffic violations which included operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He was subsequently charged in a 13-count indictment with various Vehicle and Traffic Law offenses, including aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree (three counts).
