Plaintiff Patricia Skubak filed a medical malpractice action on her daughter's behalf against several defendants. They included Lutheran General Health Care Systems (Lutheran General) and Dr. Samarjit S. Jaglan (Dr. Jaglan), who performed surgery on the right leg of 12-year-old Kimberly Skubak in 1994.
