Plaintiff Burlington Industries, Inc. ("Plaintiff) filed this action on July 18, 2001, in Guilford County Superior Court seeking to enjoin Defendant Solutia, Inc. ("Defendant") from selling nylon yarn dyed by a certain process to carpet manufacturers for making stain resistant carpets in competition with Plaintiff.
