In these two consolidated appeals, the plaintiff, Norman Pelletier, and his wife, Reine Pelletier,1 appeal from the summary judgment of the trial court,2 rendered in favor of the defendants, Sordoni/Skanska Construction Company (Sordoni) and Professional Services Industries, Inc. (Professional Services).3
