Defendants, Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff Charles Foti and his employee, Mr. Christopher Sampey, appeal the trial court's judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Shawn Jones1, awarding her damages in a wrongful death action. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
