The appellant, James Larry Crawford, was indicted on a charge of reckless murder. The jury found him guilty of the lesser-included offense of manslaughter, and the trial court sentenced him to 20 years' imprisonment. The State's evidence tended to show that on August 6, 2000, Crawford met his friend Steve Cain at Revere's bar and restaurant in Mobile.
