On December 20, 2000, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging defendant, Nathaniel Gibbs, with aggravated flight from an officer, a violation of La. R.S. 14:108.1. Defendant was arraigned on December 21, 2000 and pled not guilty. On May 24, 2001, the bill was amended to add one count of simple burglary, a violation of La. R.S. 14:62.
