¶ 1. On July 18, 2001, Robert Allen Smith pled guilty to the armed robbery of the Western Sizzlin restaurant in Batesville, Mississippi. The Circuit Court of the Second Judicial District of Panola County, the Honorable Andrew C. Baker presiding, sentenced Smith to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with thirteen years suspended.
