On April 21, 1997, Hibernia National Bank ("Hibernia") filed suit against Alfred J. Antonini and Alva Jane Marquez Antonini to collect on a note and to recognize and enforce a collateral mortgage on Cypress Manor Apartment Complex ("Cypress Manor") in Monroe, Louisiana. Summary judgment was rendered by the trial court in favor of Hibernia, but this court later vacated that judgment and remanded the matter back...
