John Vernon Williams pled guilty to two counts of making false statements to a financial institution in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1014, and two counts of mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341. After determining he intended more than $70,000 in loss to his victims, the district court sentenced Mr. Williams to five months in prison.
