¶ 1. Dr. Randall and Angela Smith were granted an irreconcilable differences divorce after fourteen years of marriage. The couple agreed to a property settlement, alimony payments and child custody arrangements. Feeling aggrieved, Randall appeals arguing that some of the provisions outlined in the settlement agreement were in the form of periodic alimony and not in the form of lump sum alimony or the division of marital assets.
