Defendant, Jeffery Hunter, was convicted by a jury of the second degree battery of Jason Friemel, a violation of La. R.S. 14:34.1. The district court sentenced defendant to three years at hard labor. Defendant appeals his conviction and sentence. For the following reasons, we affirm.1
