Plaintiff sisters were allegedly struck in the crosswalk at 63rd Street and Third Avenue in Manhattan by an automobile owned and operated by defendants when the motor vehicle was driven in reverse gear and in the wrong direction on Third Avenue, exceeding the speed limit and running a red light.
