Defendant Travis S. Everidge was charged by bill of information on 31 October 2000 with possession of cocaine in an amount twenty-eight grams or more, but less than two hundred grams, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(C) & (F). Defendant pleaded not guilty at his 6 November 2000 arraignment. The trial court denied defendant's motion to suppress the evidence on 15 November 2000. On 23 April 2001...
