Introduction

A jury found Appellant Debbie Trice guilty of one count of murder for the 1998 killing of an acquaintance outside his Indianapolis home. The trial court sentenced her to fifty years in prison.

On direct appeal, the Indiana Court of Appeals reversed, holding that the prosecutor's comments on Trice's post-arrest police interview were fundamental error. Trice v. State, 746 N.E.2d 391
