¶ 1. In August 1999, the appellant, Kenneth Partridge, filed a complaint against Bestway Rentals, Inc. and against two Bestway employees, Bernard Harvey and Billy Voss. Partridge alleged that Harvey and Voss broke into his home without permission in efforts to repossess certain furniture and appliances and that Bestway was vicariously liable for these criminal acts of its employees.
