We granted interlocutory review to consider whether a liability insurer's motion to transfer on the basis of improper venue and the insurer's supplemental motion for summary judgment on the excess policy were properly denied. The insurer contends that venue must be either in the county where the motor vehicle accident occurred or in the county where the tortfeasor or his employer reside. We find otherwise.
