Harriet Rizzo, a former employee of the Cook County Sheriff's Department, filed suit against Michael F. Sheahan, the Sheriff of Cook County, alleging that she was sexually harassed by her supervisor, Michael Mahon, and subjected to multiple acts of retaliation, including her eventual termination, for complaining about her treatment.
