A jury convicted Kenneth Wilson as charged on one count of first degree robbery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:64.1 punishable by not less than three years nor more than forty years without benefits. Thereafter, the trial court adjudicated defendant a fourth felony offender, imposed the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment and denied a timely motion for reconsideration.
