MOTZ, District Judge.

On February 1, 2001, I issued an oral opinion granting defendant's motion for judgment as a matter of law after the jury had announced it would be unable to render a verdict. Applying the standard set forth by Fed.R.Civ.P. 50(a),1 I found that no "reasonable jury" could have found in favor of plaintiff Ida Maxwell Wells against defendant G. Gordon Liddy on the issue of whether Liddy had been negligent...
