Appellee Larry Johnson was injured when part of a metal trash container fell on his foot. At the time of his injury, Johnson was on the premises of a chemical plant owned by Appellant Ethyl Corporation and run by its subsidiary, Appellant Albemarle Corporation. As a result of his injury, Johnson filed suit in the Ouachita County Circuit Court, alleging that Appellants' negligence caused his injury.1 A jury found...
