In an action for personal injuries sustained when plaintiff slipped and fell on stairs in a building owned and operated by defendant Housing Authority, the IAS court erred in denying defendant's motion to strike plaintiff's claim of inadequate lighting from the bill of particulars. The notice of claim and the complaint alleged that plaintiff was caused to slip and fall by a foreign substance on the stairwell.
