Christopher Michelson timely appeals after a jury convicted him of murder in the second degree (Count I) and vehicular homicide (Count II). Michelson was sentenced to life imprisonment as a Prison Release Reoffender. § 775.082(8)(a)(2), Fla. Stat. (1999).
