The defendant, Sidney Mayberry, was charged by bill of information on April 7, 1999, with possession of cocaine in an amount between twenty-eight and two hundred grams. He was arraigned and pled not guilty April 12, 1999. He filed a motion to suppress evidence, which was denied June 23, 1999. He moved to reopen the hearing, but that motion was denied October 5, 1999. He was found guilty as charged January 19, 2000. On January 26, 2000, he was sentenced...
