¶ 1. Maurice Acker was charged and convicted in the Circuit Court of Monroe County of felony taking of a vehicle. As a result, Acker was sentenced to serve a term of five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Feeling aggrieved, Acker effectuated this appeal raising the following issues for our review: whether the verdict was against the overwhelming weight of the evidence and whether the trial court erred...
