In this case, we determine whether a plaintiff who was formerly involved in an intimate relationship with a coworker is precluded from bringing a claim against the employer for retaliatory discharge when the plaintiff was fired after reporting her ex-boyfriend's harassing conduct to their employer. The magistrate judge granted defendant's renewed motion for judgment as a matter of law after a jury found for the plaintiff.1<...
