We have for review an order from the Circuit Court of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit which finds that Newton Carlton Slawson, a person under four sentences of death, is competent to waive his rights to collateral counsel and collateral proceedings. The circuit court also determined that Slawson's waiver was knowing, intelligent, and voluntary.
