¶ 1 Plaintiffs brought this action for damages arising from the alleged conversion by defendants of plaintiffs' stock in Sculptured Software, Inc. Before trial, the parties stipulated to the dismissal of the claims of plaintiffs Michael Macris and Southern Cross Irrevocable Trust. The trial court held that the claim of Valerie Macris was barred by section 78-12-26(2) of the Utah Code, which requires an action for the taking of personal property...
