THOMAS, Justice.

Dianna and Charles Errington (the Erringtons) appeal to this Court, seeking the reversal of a partial summary judgment, on the issue of punitive damages, entered in favor of Dr. Leonel Zolessi (Zolessi). The Erringtons seek to recover damages, including punitive damages, for medical malpractice. The district court granted Zolessi a partial summary judgment, ruling that punitive damages were not available. We hold that our rules of civil procedure...
