The appellants, 12 defendants, brought motions to discharge on the basis that they were denied their statutory and constitutional rights to speedy trials. In each case, the appellant was not brought to trial within 6 months as required by Neb.Rev. Stat. §§ 29-1207 and 29-1208 (Reissue 1995).
