This is an appeal from the district court's order denying Jeffrey Beavers's motion to withdraw his guilty plea and to dismiss his indictment for the possession of firearms in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9). Section 922(g)(9) prohibits a person previously convicted of "a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence" from possessing a firearm.
