On January 4, 2000 the State filed a bill of information charging the four defendants, Johnny Jenkins, Chad Roig, Shenoa Lape, and Danny Brown, with first offense simple possession of marijuana. The trial started as to some of the defendants on February 8, 2000. After testimony was given, the court granted a directed verdict as to defendant Chad Roig and granted the motion to suppress evidence as to the defendants...
