RODRIGUEZ, Justice.

A jury convicted appellant, Omar Barrera, of attempted murder and the trial court sentenced him to fifteen years confinement. After a hearing on a motion for new trial, the sentence was reduced to ten years. Appellant raised six points of error on appeal, challenging the jury charge, the sufficiency of the evidence, and the trial court's ruling on a hearsay objection.
