Plaintiffs are students and parents of students at Atherton High School, a part of the Jefferson County Public Schools. They allege that the Atherton student dress code violates rights guaranteed by the First Amendment, the Fourteenth Amendment, the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), and 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
