This is a contractual dispute between SIA Insurance Company (SIAI), and its former claims handling contractor, Countrywide Services Corporation (Countrywide). After SIAI terminated their contract, Countrywide billed SIAI for over $165,000.00 in allegedly unpaid invoices. When SIAI did not pay, Countrywide filed suit. The district court1 dismissed SIAI's counterclaim and, on Countrywide's motion in limine, excluded evidence...
