On December 14, 1990, the District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin determined that Anton Tittjung's position as a Nazi concentration camp guard during World War II invalidated his previously issued visa. Therefore, the court revoked Tittjung's citizenship and cancelled his certificate of naturalization. This Court affirmed that decision.
