On November 20, 1998, the defendant, Tony B. Gillet, was charged by bill of information with distribution of cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967 B(1). The defendant entered a plea of not guilty at his arraignment on November 25, 1998. A motion hearing was held on December 2, 1998.
