¶ 1 The state appeals from the trial court's judgment in favor of plaintiff/appellee Cynthia Najar, and its denial of a new trial, on her claim that the state unlawfully denied her a promotion in retaliation for her actions in filing a sexual harassment grievance against her former supervisor.
