Lavelle Span was convicted after a jury trial of two counts of distributing crack cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and one count of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. At sentencing, the district court determined that Span's relevant conduct involved more than 50 grams of crack cocaine and sentenced him to 372 months in prison.
